Heart,
The lord of heaven of love
Dwells
in the bliss of meditation
meditating on the beauty of love
When struck,
by the impermanence
of this physical world
Falls !
falls like a river over a cliff !
All the loves
and lovers
Meet
with
the time of death
like
open butter-lamps
in a windstorm !
In part two, I have delved on the realisation regarding the limitations and impermanence of the physical aspect of love.....when this dawns on oneself....does one be able to transcend the physical boundaries that we draw and the limitations we thrust on ourselves - by the world as we realise and live in.....and when one is able to do that......does one realise the perfect love !!!

Very aptly put by u,since perfection and permanence in love is as relative and unattainable as love itself, when bound by the shackles of physical limitations and boundaries....one who is liberated ...is truly afflicted by timeless love
......having said that....the million dollar question is ....are we ever truly liberated...CAN we as humans, and as lesser mortals...ever be truly liberated...Would be looking forward to an answer to that(not a theory)...Cheers!
there is a very famous quote....being born is a sign of imperfection....let me address the issues raised by you....
permanence in love is definitely attainable....when there is faith shown by you in your partner or your partner shows faith in you....thats when the permanence comes into the relationship. The intensity and the way its expressed differs from person to person.
being human....our love....is also contaminated with desires and expectations....But this also blesses us, the lesser mortals, with divinity that the gods can't attain....in our lives, we do come across moments when we look / admire / hold the loved one selflessly....without any desire, expectation and even emotion...thats when one experiences timelessness and the divine comes forth from inside ourselves....for some it may be a fraction of a second and for a few lucky ones it may for a longer duration of time....but every one experiences this at some or the other moment in his or her life....there will be no thoughts....no past, no present and no future....
thats because pure love is effusing from the very core of the being !!
blessed are the ones who realise this experince.
unimaginable perception!! selfless love is truly a divine experience....but physical love is contamination of love may not hold true...it might be an attempt to feel love by all the senses one has...........love by nature is selfish too..it wants always to behold and hold the object of its affection......it is selfless in its selfishness...............
